Wesbild Buys Land on East Bella Vista Highlands

Vernon, British Columbia – Wesbild Holdings Ltd., one of Canada’s largest neighbourhood developers, will be contributing to the continuing evolution of the City of Vernon into one of the most desirable and livable communities in Canada. Wesbild recently purchased 112 acres in the East Bella Vista Highlands and is setting up shop in the Vernon area. The land is part of the East Bella Vista Highlands Neighbourhood Plan which was approved by Vernon’s City Council in April 2005.

“We are very excited to have the opportunity to participate in the development of the East Bella Vista Highlands.” said Tony Zappone, Development Manager for Wesbild, “This area will be transformed into one of BC’s most desirable neighbourhoods providing quality housing, parks and outstanding vistas for its new residents and all Vernon citizens. Personally, I am looking forward to living in Vernon. Like many people, I have vacationed in the Okanagan area, but now I get to enjoy all its benefits as a resident.”

Wesbild is actively working on the planning for infrastructure works and sales/marketing efforts. Preliminary site work is scheduled to begin in July 2005.
