Turtle Mountain Supports VJH Foundation’s Do It For Dad Father’s Day Run and Walk

Vernon B.C. – Turtle Mountain, A Wesbild Community, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the 9th Annual Do it For Dad Father’s Day Run and Walk supporting the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation and the Prostrate Cancer Support Group on June 15th 2008 at Coldstream Ranch. Funds raised will stay right here in the Vernon community to support prostate cancer awareness, testing and treatment.

Event registration starts at 8:30 AM and attendees have a choice of an 8 KM run or 3 KM walk. During the event the Kalamalka Highland Pipers play for the walkers and runners, face painting is available for the kids and the Kalamalka Caring Clowns will also be there to put a smile on your face. Plenty of food and refreshments will be on hand, including sandwiches and cookies from Subway.
