Construction Continues on Turtle Mountain
Vernon, British Columbia – Wesbild Holdings Ltd., is continuing their construction program on Vernon’s newest residential community, Turtle Mountain, with Phase II commencing today.
Working closely with their contractors, Hoban Equipment Ltd and consulting engineers Kerr Wood Leidal, Phase II will see the completion of a layout for the first subdivision, further road grading of Turtle Mountain Drive and site grading for the first 95 single family lots as well as for a pump station and reservoir.
“We are aware that development at times can be irritating,” said Don Moore, Manager of Environmental Services for Wesbild, “Wesbild has been proactively working with our contractors to minimize any inconvenience on our neighbours. In addition, our immediate neighbours have been very understanding and welcoming and we look forward to getting to know them better.”
Phase II of construction is scheduled to finish at the end of February, with Phase III construction beginning the next day – March 1. Phase III will include further site servicing, completion of the Turtle Mountain Drive roadway construction and the installation of the community water system.
